Our Cetyl Stearyl Alcohol is derived from renewable vegetable oils. It is fatty alcohol, readily biodegradable and GMO-free. Approved by ECOCERT Greenlife in accordance with COSMOS standards. Cetearyl Alcohol is used in many cosmetic, skin and hair care products. It is an excellent consistency regulator. It also acts as an opacifier and viscosity controller. It is HALAL and KOSHER certified.
It helps to add an emollient feel (smoothness and glide) to lotions and creams.
Cetyl Stearyl Alcohol can also be used as the emollient instead of oil to create an “oil free” moisturiser.
